Meeting Point
Royal Regalia Museum Parking Lots
- - Meet-n-Greet with the Guide at the Royal Regalia Museum parking lots, it is where the tour commences.
Royal Ceremonial Hall
You'll get to see the Royal Ceremonial Hall, which is just across the parking lots.
Where the royal ceremonies, state investiture and some state events are traditionally held. The most notable event held in this hall was during the coronation of the current Monarch in 1968.
** The interior is not open to the public without official permission.
Royal Regalia Museum
Just on the other of the road.
A 20 seconds of walking distance by crossing the zebra-crossing lines (upon the pressing of buttons from the Traffic Lights) from the parking lots.
Officiated by His Majesty on 30 September 1992 in conjunction of the Silver Jubilee celebration to mark 25 years of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne. Home to the Sultanate’s heirlooms and regalia, from golden chariots to olden-day symbolic weapons and shields, exhibits of His Majesty’s Silver and Golden Jubilee celebrations. Ornate mementos from historic Brunei, this museum is embellished with the beauty of Brunei’s past.
Secretariat Building
Proceed the walk where you will find the Secretariat Building, the oldest government structure that serves the State Secretariat of Brunei or the seat of government.
General Post Office + Clock Tower
Where you be passing-by the General Post Office, built by the British Resident during the Treaty of Friendship in 1906.
Get to see The Clock Tower, where it is to commemorate the visit of Tuanku Abdul Rahman (the Malaysia's First Prime Minister) to Brunei and the foundation stone was laid by him during the visit.
Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien
A significant historical site where the country’s independence was declared in 1984. Today, it functions as a large venue for ceremonial events, including National Day celebration and the King’s birthday. The site also features gardens commemorating the capital city’s name change as of what we call it today, Bandar Seri Begawan.

Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque & Golden Jubilee Crown Park
Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque,
An iconic symbol in the capital city of Brunei, Bandar Seri Begawan, epitomizes Brunei’s blend of traditional Islamic and contemporary architecture. named after Omar Ali Saifuddien III, the 28th Sultan of Brunei, who was widely regarded as the "Architect of Modern Brunei", completed in 1958. Its lagoon rests a magnificent replica of a 16th-century Royal Barge, the Mahligai, commissioned in 1967 to commemorate the 1,400th anniversary of the Nuzul Al-Quran (the revelation of the Holy Quran) and was historically used as a stage for Quran reading competition.
Golden Jubilee Crown Park,
Inaugurated on 22 October 2017, in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee of the Sultan's accession to the throne as the 29th and current Sultan of Brunei. The Frame (picture frame-shaped structure 9.3 metres height), offering dual viewpoints of Brunei's two most famous landmarks, the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III Mosque and Water Village.
Royal Wharf
Has a rich history as both a port and an entry point for passengers and imported goods arriving by sea. The significance of this wharf, along with the former customs building, lies in its role as a historic gateway to Brunei. There is a golden fountain monument to honor of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah's 60th birthday, built in Bandar Seri Begawan in 2006, features a distinctive design with a tall bent column that forms the Arabic numeral 60, illuminating at night, creating a notable landmark along the capital's shoreline.
Water Village
Get onto the speedboat from the Royal Wharf Jetty and travel across the Brunei River, getting close-up views of the stilted houses that make up Water Village, or what the locals called it as "Kampong Ayer" (Local term). The village is home to thousands of local residents and features such as the wooden houses on stilts above the water, mosques and mosques (all connected by walkways). You will also get to take a glimpse into daily life, from fishing to family routines.
Chinese Temple
Return and drop-off at the Royal Wharf Jetty, to proceed with the walk to Chinese Temple that stands as the oldest Chinese temple, holding a significant place in the hearts of the Chinese community. It’s a cultural hub, a place where the Chinese community gathers to celebrate their traditions and heritage. The temple offers a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Brunei’s Chinese community. It’s a place where history, spirituality and artistry intertwine, creating a truly unforgettable experience.
Kianggeh Market
A bustling hub of local culture and commerce in the capital city, offers a unique experience of vibrant market scene, presenting a wide array of shopping and eating alternatives. This market showcases all the distinguished goods of Brunei along with the traditional hand-woven handicrafts, which makes it a must-visit for those looking to immerse themselves in the local lifestyle.
