Kampong Phluk is one of the four main floating communities in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This site is very attractive because of the very strange long stilt houses of the villagers, flooding situation, fishing activities, travelling activities, schooling activities, farming activities, daily life activities flooding forest and crocodile farms. Plus, the traditional way of producing Khmer traditional products at Satcha. At the end of the tour, you will feel something different and impressed.

Start the tour from your hotel and head to Satcha.
Satcha
You will understand a variety of producing Khmer traditional products from rattan trees, stones, wood and leaves. A local guide in this place will explain each step of producing and you will be attracted to observe people working their jobs.
Visit the floating village
To get there, you have to take the boat. You will stop at the pagoda to explore the belief of the villagers and possible to visit some floating schools, After that, you will walk in that village to see how their house are, how they live, how they earn for living. Finally, the boat will take you through the mangrove forest before seeing the the Great Lake called Tonle Sap.
Sunset time
After fascinating the village and mangrove forest, you will stop at the crocodile farm. There, you can see some crocodile and some benches are ready for you to see the stunning sunset at this great lake.
Get back to your hotel

“Awesome tour”
This was a most edifying & enjoyable tour with a guide who is kind, attentive & knowledgeable. A trip to Koh Ker, Banteay Srei & the Bayon. It was in a comfortable vehicle. Both driver & guide were flexible in adjusting schedule on the fly. Highly recommended. For English speakers, guide has an excellent command of the language & speaks quite clearly.
