Growing up between Hong Kong and Scotland, Rory was never a stranger to adventure. Whether it was scaling munros in the Scottish Highlands or the finding new waterfalls in the New Territories of HK, he was always keen to utilise any opportunity to explore. After finishing school, he got his first taste of a big adventure sailing an 80ft yacht from Scotland to the Svalbard archipelago near the North Pole. His post school years were then spent working and skiing in New Zealand & travelling around Southeast Asia. All of this, before moving to Australia to pursue degree in architecture. Whilst studying, Rory completed a solo bicycle trip across Vietnam and China, cycling from Saigon to Hong Kong. He wrote a book based on the experience that led to greater endeavours in the ensuing years. With university done, Rory proceeded to tackle a bigger challenge; cycling across Africa. He completed the solo ride from Cape Town to Cairo within 5 months, with a few eye-opening experiences along the way to say the least! His recent kayaking expeditions around Hong Kong, trekking in the Himalayas and climbing of some high altitude routes in the Andes other notable experiences among many. As an experienced traveller, he enjoys meeting other travellers and showing them a different side to Hong Kong. Having grown up there, he has a unique insight into many facets of 'HK' life.

“Great guided trip around Shenzhen!”
I was on a solo trip, and Dora was very considerate and professional. The visit was very smooth and pleasant. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome, and she knows so many different spots around the city! We covered a lot of different things, and time flew by. We enjoyed some local cuisine, walked through both the Electronic and Painting districts, and she even helped me with some souvenirs to bring home. I definitely recommend her!

“Great day in Hong Kong with Dora!”
Our small group spent an awesome 8 hours exploring Hong Kong with Dora. She took us to all the places we wanted to experience, she suggested places we didn’t know about that were wonderful, and exposed us to excellent food. Dora was gracious, knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating. We highly recommend Dora!!

“Exploring Hong Kong with the local‘s favorites”
We had a very pleasant experience of spending a nice afternoon with a lot of fun with Dora! She gave us an exciting opportunity of exploring Hong Kong starting from the Ocean Terminal to Victoria Peak by Peak Tram, and later by visiting Tsim Sha Tsui Pier for Victoria Harbour, iconic Building of K11, The Peninsula Hotel, Causeway Bay etc. She explained us many details about local customs and traditions. Dora is a charming young lady, a polite and competent guide with an excellent English knowledge. We can only recommend booking a tour guided with Dora and would be glad visiting Hong Kong again!
