“ Tailored Longji Rice Terraces and Yangshou itineraries with an experienced local guide willing to go the extra mile”
Jerry was very accommodating, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a fantastic visit to Guilin, Longji rice terraces and his hometown Yangshuo. This included going to a bakery last minute as per our request, offering to drop us off at a dinner location after our first tour day (not planned), and willing to extend the final tour day by fitting in a visit to West Street after the impressions show in Yangshuo (but we decided to go back to the hotel and rest instead). Our two days were packed, visiting many places of interest. His proficient English allowed him to clearly communicate what was happening throughout each of the two days and explain some interesting details that added to the magic of the experiences. The tour felt more like a friend showing us the fantastic sights near where they live rather than a formal tour guide reciting lines they’d rehearsed. Jerry was quick to adjust the itinerary accordingly, giving us two very special day tours. Jerry was able to answer all our questions and provided advice when we needed it. 10/10, thank you for the two superb day tours Jerry and we will be sure to recommend you to anyone who is visiting the area.

“Amazing guide”
Lisa was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable and super helpful. Responded quickly to our enquiries. Sorted out all our tickets we needed for us quickly as people knew her. A charming lady, we really enjoyed the day with her. She adapted the tour as we went along to deal with our tiredness due to the hot weather and even carried my camera bag on a long walk. Without her we would not have got to the cable car and caves. Excellent value Totally recommended if you are in the Yangshuo area. Go with guide were not good though, and edited our messages so we couldn’t directly be in contact well before the tour; not relaxing as didn’t want to rely on having internet there to access the site to get a message. Showaround does not do that
