The featured clay pot rice restaurant is extremely popular among locals. During peak hours, we may need to wait approximately 30 minutes for a table. The authentic, freshly cooked taste is well worth the short wait.
3. Meeting Point & Transport
The tour operates on a walking basis; no private vehicle is included.
Round-trip transportation to the meeting point (subway, bus, taxi) is at the guest’s own expense.

“A fantastic day in Guangzhou!”
We contacted Karen on short-notice when our flight plans changed and we learned we would have a day in Guangzhou while on a layover before heading to our next destination. Karen was great at proposing ideas of what to do during our time in the city, and was very flexible with adjustments we needed to make based on our time constraints. She took such good care of us - met us at the airport, guided us through some must-see sights and activities in the city, and made sure we were back at the airport again in time for our departure flight. We really have nothing but good memories of our little layover in Guangzhou and our fantastic guide Karen, who was so enthusiastic to show us her city - thank you!!!
