Guilin and Yangshuo is famous of its karst mountains and Li River, from this tour, we will see the marvelous landscape of the mountains at two sides of the Li River by taking a boat. On our chinese 20CNY note, there is a picture on the back, this view in located in Xingping in real, so we could marvel the picture to the landscape in front of us.

China is a tea drinking countryside, besides seeing the karst landscape, we will experience how green tea is picked and processed.

Meeting Point

Hotel lobby (in Yangshuo)

Tea picking at the tea plantation

Arriving at the tea plantation, bring the farming hats with us and go to pick the tea leaves ourselves by hand, during the picking time, learn some tea knowledge and enjoy the view arround you on top of the mountain.

After that, go to the plantation building and experience the traditional tea making.

When tea is being drying by machine, we are going to taste the locals teas at the tea ceremony.

Lastly, take the tea we made and start for the next destination,

Hiking on a small trail along a hillside

Driving from the tea plantation to a start of a small trail and starting hiking along the hillside to Xingping Da He Bei village and take a local ferry boat to across the river to the other side to Xingping town.

Xingping resteraunts

Arriving in Xingping town, take a short walk through the old street to a local restaurant for lunch.

Li River boat tour

After lunch, 4 minutes walk to the shuttle bus point and take the local shuttle bus to the dock for the boat ride which is a round trip.

03:30 PM

Finishing the boat ride and get back to the car

Finishing the boat ride, take the shuttle bus again to the dock where we get off the ferry again to take another local ferry to across the river and meet our driver. Then drive back to the hotel.

05:00 PM

Back to the hotel

drop off at the hotel after the ferry bank.

-Please be noted each boat takes maximum 4 people. Those not up to 4, we will share the boat ride with other travelers, otherwise the empty seat cost will be covered by clients themselves which is 75 yuen each seat.

Walking is required on this trip, and having boat ride, disables and kids under 80cms are not suitable.

From a remoute mountain village to now a seaoned local tour guide with over 15 years of experience, i know almost every beautiful spot and touching story of this land.

My 15 -year career as a tou guide has not only take me through the mountains and water of Guilin but also allowed me to collect countless precious memories.
