We'll visit one or two beautiful old churches to see amazing colonial art. If you’re feeling adventurous, we can climb the church towers for a breathtaking panoramic view of Quito from above. Meeting Point
If your hotel is in the Old Town, I’ll meet you in the lobby. If you're staying elsewhere, we’ll meet at Hotel Patio Andaluz.
- Hotel Patio Andaluz is located in the Old Town, and you can easily get there by taxi. If you prefer to be picked up from your hotel, just let me know in advance, you’ll only need to cover my transportation cost.
Main square
Independece square, where you can see the presidential palace, the city hall, the archbishop palace and the metropolitan Cathedral.
La Compañia de Jesus church
It is considered one of the most beautiful churches in south America where you can notice the barroque and morish style between other marvelous details.
SAN FRANCISCO SQUARE AND THE SAN FRANCISCO CONVENT
This plaza is full of history, and the convent holds an amazing collection of colonial art. It has an access to the towers where you can take great pictures of the old town.
Chocolate experience
In this place you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the cacao bean, and how ends in a chocolate bar. The chocolate goes from 60% to 100% of cacao with exotic flavours.
Ending Point
At 13h00 we will finish the tour at the same place where you were picked up.

This tour does not involve long distances but it is a good idea to use comfortable walking shoes.
It is important to use sunblock, the sun is strong in Equator.
The weather is unpredictable so use a rain jacket or take an umbrella with you.
