Abydos temple
The Temple of King Seti, which was completed by his son Ramesses II and the place where the king’s mummy had to go on pilgrimage after his death to ensure eternity in heaven. Dendera Temple is located 60 kilometers north of Luxor, about 50 minutes by car from the western road. Abydos Temple is about 140 kilometers north of Dendara Temple, meaning about 2 hours by car, because there are residential areas and markets off the road.
