Location. The Lake is situated in the Oromia region of Ethiopia, about 150 km west of Addis Ababa, near Ambo. It is nestled in a volcanic crater at an altitude of around 3,000 meters (9,800 feet) above sea level. Here are some of the top things to do at Wonchi Crater Lake.
