“Rifleman T P Ryan”
Sarah and I main purpose was to visit my great uncle's memorial. Frédéric showed us that plus the area he was probably killed. He also showed many other Somme battlefield sites and memorials. His knowledge was immense and he was able put it across extremely well. He answered our many questions. Anybody was has him as a guide has a real gem

Vimy Ridge, The Somme: Canada in the Great War
The Battle of Vimy Ridge from the 9th to the 12th of April, 1917 marks the most important victory of the Canadian Forces. I propose to visit the battlefield, its aerial trenches but also underground as well as its interpretive center. The visit will continue on the Somme sector and especially on the Newfoundland Memorial Park in Beaumont Hamel, emblematic place where its soldiers where engaged in the battle. Courcellette and the Canadian Memorial commemorating the battles of 1916.
