David Gareja Monastery
In the first half of the 6th century, an inspiring Assyrian father named David chose a humble natural cave in the Gareji Desert as the birthplace of what would become a renowned spiritual haven. Alongside his devoted disciples, Lukyan and Dodo, he laid the foundation for a monastery later celebrated as David Lavra, a symbol of faith and dedication.

Our second tour with Nini, this time to Mtskheta by van, was just as fantastic as the first one. Nini was extremely attentive throughout the entire tour, and the driver was excellent — very professional, careful, and friendly. Everything was perfectly organized and stress-free. She took us to stunning historical sites such as Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, explaining their importance in a clear and passionate way.
