Jvari Monastery

Perched on a hill above Mtskheta, Jvari Monastery is one of Georgia’s most iconic landmarks, dating back to the 6th century. This UNESCO-listed site offers breathtaking panoramic views of the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. Built on the place where Saint Nino erected a wooden cross, Jvari is a masterpiece of early Georgian architecture and a powerful symbol of the country’s Christian heritage. Perfect for photos and quiet reflection.

Ananuri Fortress Complex

Set along the shores of the Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress Complex is a well-preserved 16th–17th century architectural ensemble that once served as the residence of the Aragvi dukes. Surrounded by defensive walls and towers, the complex features beautifully decorated churches, intricate stone carvings and rich historical details. Its dramatic location overlooking turquoise waters and mountains makes it one of the most scenic and photogenic stops on the way to Kazbegi.

Aragvi River of Two Colors Viewpoint

Located along the Georgian Military Highway, the Aragvi River of Two Colors Viewpoint is a unique natural attraction where the Black and White Aragvi rivers flow side by side without immediately mixing. This striking contrast creates a beautiful visual effect, especially from above. Surrounded by lush valleys and mountain scenery, it’s a perfect short stop for photos and to enjoy one of Georgia’s most fascinating natural phenomena.

Gudauri View Point

The Gudauri Viewpoint is one of the most breathtaking stops along the journey to Kazbegi. Located high in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, it offers sweeping panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, deep valleys and winding mountain roads. On clear days, the scenery stretches endlessly, making it a perfect place for photos and a short break. The viewpoint is also near the famous Friendship Monument, adding cultural significance to its natural beauty.

Gergeti Trinity Church

The Gergeti Trinity Church is one of Georgia’s most iconic landmarks, dramatically perched at 2,170 meters above sea level. Overlooking the town of Stepantsminda and the majestic Mount Kazbek, the church offers one of the most breathtaking mountain panoramas in the Caucasus. Built in the 14th century, it is a symbol of Georgian faith and resilience. The remote location and stunning scenery make it a must-visit for both history lovers and nature enthusiasts.

Stepantsminda – Free Time & Lunch Break

Stop in the charming mountain town of Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), where you will have free time to relax and enjoy a traditional Georgian lunch. Surrounded by stunning views of Mount Kazbek and the Caucasus Mountains, this is a perfect break to experience local cuisine, explore the town or simply rest before continuing the journey.

Lunch is optional and not included in the tour price, allowing guests to choose their preferred dining experience.
