Jvari Monastery

Jvari Monastery is a 6th-century UNESCO World Heritage site located on a hilltop near Mtskheta. It is one of Georgia’s most important religious landmarks, offering stunning panoramic views over the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. The monastery is a perfect example of early Georgian Christian architecture and a peaceful stop with deep historical and spiritual significance.

Stalin Museum

Stalin Museum is located in Stalin’s birthplace, Gori and is dedicated to the life and legacy of Joseph Stalin. The complex includes his original house, a grand Soviet-style museum and his personal armored railway carriage. It offers a detailed look into Soviet history and one of the most controversial figures of the 20th century, making it a unique and thought-provoking stop on the tour.

Uplistsikhe

Uplistsikhe is an ancient rock-hewn city carved into the cliffs of eastern Georgia, dating back to the early Iron Age. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended due to uneven terrain and stone surfaces.
