10:00 AM

Meeting Point

At your hotel or the place where you are staying in Chandigarh.

- It would be better to start from your place where you are staying.

10:20 AM

Rose Garden

The Zakir Hussain Rose Garden in Chandigarh is one of Asia’s largest rose gardens. It spreads across 40 acres and features more than 800 varieties of roses, along with fountains and well laid out walking paths. It was created both for plant conservation and for people to enjoy a calm, colorful space in the city.

11:30 AM

Capitol complex

The Capitol Complex in Chandigarh is the city’s most iconic architectural landmark. Designed by Le Corbusier, it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It includes three main buildings: the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the legislative assembly and the secretariat. And there are four key monuments, the open hand monument, the tower of shadows, the martyrs’ memorial, and geometric hill. Together, they show Corbusier’s modernist vision and Chandigarh’s identity as a planned modern city.

01:30 PM

Rock Garden

The Rock Garden of Chandigarh is one of the most imaginative and unusual spots in the city. Conceived by Nek Chand, it spreads across about 40 acres, built from discarded materials like broken bangles, tiles, glass, ceramics, and other waste. Instead of traditional gallery spaces, you’ll find winding paths, courtyards and little waterfalls revealing sculptures of dancers, animals, and human figures. It feels like stepping into a secret kingdom, where waste is transformed into art, reflecting creativity, environmental awareness and sheer vision.

02:30 PM

Sukhna Lake

Sukhna Lake is a serene man-made lake in Chandigarh, created in 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe. It’s perfect for a gentle walk, jogging along shaded paths, or simply enjoying views of the Shivalik Hills. The lake holds special significance as the ashes of Pierre Jeanneret (who was the cousin brother of Le Corbusier)were scattered here. Today, it remains a favourite spot for recreation, relaxation, and connecting with nature.

Local Market of sector 22

Sector 22 Local Market

Shastri market 22 in Chandigarh’s Sector 22 is a lively local shopping area where visitors can experience the everyday character of the city. The market is known for affordable clothing, footwear, accessories, fabrics and other daily-use items, with bargaining often part of the shopping experience. It also has a vibrant food scene, with popular local snacks such as chaat, golgappe, samosas, chole bhature and kulche.

Unlike the more formal Sector 17 Plaza, Sector 22 offers a more local and bustling atmosphere, making it a good place to experience Chandigarh’s everyday shopping, street food and local life.
