Jama Masjid (mosque) Delhi

Jama Masjid is a famous Muslim worship place that was built by shah Jahan the fifth Muslim Mughal emperor of India.

It's built on hilltop called" Bhujala". The area was first populated by Mughal Muslim emperor Shah Jahan Tha was called "Shahjahan Aabad "means Shahjahan' populated area.

It's the largest mosque of India, famous among Muslims and none Muslims alike.

We will go through the sprawling streets of old Delhi Jama Masjid ,covering Mati Mahal area streets food market and restaurants selling best mouth watering Mughlai foods such as fried chicken 🍗, roasted Kaibab, Shahi Tukda , Nan, Nihari, chicken currys, mutton currys, Biryani plate veg or non veg, Shahi ice cream etc. I will recommend you where, what to eat and drink.

Razia Sultan's tomb

Razia Sultan's tomb (graveyard). The first Muslim lady ruler of Turkish slave dynasty of Delhi. There is a small mosque adjacent to the grave of the queen. You can rest for a while.

Kalan Masjid (famous castle mosque)

The Kalan Masjid (mosque) is very earlier mosque built by Turkish slave dynasty rulers who established the first Muslim kingdom in India in 1500 century A.D. It is older than Jama Masjid.
