Meeting Point

JAIN TEMPLE(Laal Mandir) CHANDNI CHOWK

- Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir, located opposite the Red Fort at the beginning of Chandni Chowk. It’s an easy and well-known landmark to find. The easiest option is the Lal Qila (Red Fort) Metro Station on the Violet Line. From there, the Jain Mandir is just a short walk towards the Red Fort.

Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir

A beautiful historic Jain temple located opposite the Red Fort, known for its peaceful atmosphere and the Bird Hospital, where injured and sick birds are cared for.

We’ll spend around 15-20 minutes exploring the temple, learning about Jain traditions, and visiting the unique bird hospital before continuing our Old Delhi shopping walk.

Chandni Chowk

Explore the Markets of Old Delhi

After visiting the Jain Mandir, we’ll continue our walk through the lively lanes of Chandni Chowk.

I’ll take you to some of Old Delhi’s most interesting and specialised markets, where you can explore and shop for:

* Paper and stationery at Chawri Bazaar

* Photography and camera-related products

* Electrical and lighting items

* Textiles and fabrics

* Spices and traditional Indian ingredients
