It is named after Norbulingka, the summer residence of the Dalai Lamas in Lhasa, Tibet.

Thosamling Nunnery

Thosamling Nunnery is a non-profit institution practicing within the Tibetan Buddhist lineage. It is home to several ordained nuns who lead weekend meditation retreats. Recently, Thosamling has opened its doors to women from around the world, offering affordable stays for extended periods (from 5 days to 2 months) as a base for personal retreat practices.

Guyto Monastery

Finally, visit the Gyuto Monastery, founded in Tibet in 1474, renowned for its study of Tantric meditation, ritual arts, and Buddhist philosophy. The Gyuto Tantric Monastery (Gyuto Dratsang) was established to preserve and promote the tantric teachings of the great teacher Tsongkhapa. Your guide will assist you in exploring these significant sites, sharing heartwarming stories about the famous temples, and providing deep insights into Tibetan culture and architecture.
