10:30 AM

Meeting Point

Viceroys Arch Old Goa

- The arch is located beside the Mandovi River, close to the entrance to the historic Old Goa heritage area. Guests can search for “Viceroy's Arch, Old Goa” on Google Maps to locate the meeting point easily. Your storyteller will meet you at the arch before the experience begins.

11:00 AM

Cajetans Church

St. Cajetan Church is one of Old Goa’s most distinctive churches, known for its impressive dome and grand architectural style. Built in the 17th century by the Theatines, it was inspired by the original design of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. The church adds another layer to the story of Portuguese-era Goa and its connections with European religious and architectural traditions.

11:30 AM

Se Cathedral

Se Cathedral is one of the most important historic churches in Old Goa and one of the largest churches in Asia. Built during the Portuguese period, it is dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria and is known for its imposing scale and distinctive Portuguese-Manueline architectural influence.

11:30 AM

Basilica of Bom Jesus

The Basilica of Bom Jesus is one of the most significant churches in Old Goa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the late 16th century, it is particularly known for housing the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, whose life and missionary work are closely connected with Goa’s history.

12:30 PM

Fontainhas

Fontainhas is the historic Latin Quarter of Panjim, known for its colourful Portuguese-influenced houses, narrow lanes and distinctive architectural details. Walking through the neighbourhood reveals a more intimate side of Goa, with old homes, balconies, street corners and everyday life woven into the heritage landscape.

Rather than simply looking at the buildings, the walk helps you understand how Portuguese architectural influence became part of Goa's living urban culture, and how the neighbourhood continues to function as a residential community today.

About Tour Guide Clyde T.

Hi, I'm Clyde, a local guide and experience curator from Goa.

I've spent years exploring Goa beyond its beaches, from its Portuguese heritage and Hindu temples to village life, local markets, food, forests and the many experiences that most visitors never get to discover.

What I enjoy most is helping travellers see Goa differently. Rather than simply taking you from one attraction to another, I like sharing the stories, people, traditions and little details that give each place its character.

Whether you're visiting Goa for the first time or returning for the tenth, I can help you discover a side of Goa that matches your interests and travel style.

Expect a relaxed, informative and genuinely local experience, with plenty of stories, conversations and recommendations along the way.

If you want to explore Goa beyond the usual tourist checklist, I'd love to curate your itinerary and make it happen.
