Our first stop is a stunning, historic local stepwell. You'll admire its incredible geometric architecture and learn how these structures beautifully conserved water for the desert city.

Next, we wander deep into the peaceful, ancient streets of the authentic Blue City. We will explore the blue-washed houses, learn why they are painted blue, see daily local life up close, and take amazing photos.

Tuk-Tuk Ride to My Home

Right from the heart of the Blue City, we will hop into a classic local tuk-tuk (auto-rickshaw) for a fun, scenic ride straight to my family home.

Welcome to my home! Relax and enjoy warm hospitality as we serve a 100% pure-vegetarian Marwari meal cooked traditionally without onion or garlic (hygienically prepared with filtered water). As we eat, we will share stories about local family traditions and culture.

Enjoy a warm cup of masala chai as we conclude our memorable local evening.

Ending Point

Our experience concludes right back where we started. My home is just a pleasant 5-minute walk from the Clock Tower, so I will personally walk you back to the tower after dinner to ensure you easily find your way back to your hotel or transport.

What‘s included

Professional Private Guide: A fully guided, personalized 4-hour experience of the Blue City with me as your private host.

Traditional Marwari Dinner: A 100% pure-vegetarian, authentic local dinner served at my family home (hygienically prepared with filtered RO water and cooked traditionally without onion or garlic).

Local Transportation: All classic tuk-tuk (auto-rickshaw) rides during the tour, including the ride from the Blue City to my home, and the ride back to the Clock Tower.

Beverages: Refreshing bottled water during the walk and a warm cup of traditional masala chai or a local treat at my home.

What‘s not included

Personal Expenses: Any souvenirs, snacks, or shopping items you wish to purchase at the local markets.

Hotel Pick-up / Drop-off: Transportation from your hotel to the Clock Tower meeting point, or from the Clock Tower back to your hotel after the tour ends.

Tips / Gratuities: Tips for the guide are not included and are entirely at your discretion if you enjoy the service.

Tour Important Information

100% Pure Vegetarian Dinner: The home-cooked meal is strictly vegetarian and prepared traditionally without any onion or garlic. Vegans are very welcome; please inform me in advance.

High Hygiene Standards: All food is prepared fresh in a clean home environment using filtered RO water, making it completely safe for international travelers.

Comfortable Footwear: This tour involves walking through uneven cobblestone streets and climbing steps at the stepwell. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

Not Wheelchair Accessible: Due to the narrow alleys, steps at the stepwell, and the nature of the old city streets, this tour is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.

Weather Conditions: Jodhpur can be quite warm. It is recommended to carry a bottle of water and sunglasses for the walking portion of the tour.

Allergies & Dietary Needs: Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance if you have any specific food allergies (such as nuts or gluten) so my family can prepare accordingly.

Flexible Timing: This tour can be done as a Morning Tour (10:00 AM) for lunch or an Evening Tour (04:00 PM) for dinner. Please let me know your preferred time in your message so I can confirm it for you!
