Sanchi Serenity: A Journey Through Ancient Heritage and Great Stup.

This is a full-day guided tour by car. During this tour, we visit Sanchi, home to some of the Oldest Stone Structures Arround the World and/or the Great Stupa. We also enjoy exploring the Unique Rock Art at the Udaygiri Caves.
As an addition, we enjoy lunch at a local retreat and savor traditional local delicacies. On the return journey, we take in the beautiful sights of Bhopal.

Meeting Point

- • Generally, I use a Placard, but in some where, information such as the car number and specific meeting point can also be provided when necessary. • Usually, my tours begin between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM, but for group tours, the time is fixed, and it is mandatory for guests to arrive on time. • Guests are also informed in advance about the weather and appropriate attire.
Visiting Sanchi and Heritage sites
Exploration of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and witness some of the Oldest stone structures and most important Buddhist monuments in India.
Visit the Great Stupa, Ashoka Pillar, Monasteries, and Buddhist Temples.
Learn about the history of Buddhism and the architectural and artifact brilliance of these structures, dating back to the 3rd century BCE.
Udaygiri: Wonder of Cave Art.
Exploration the Udaygiri Caves, which is famous for ancient rock-cut temples and intricate carvings.
Visiting of the Hindu Temples, including the cave with the iconic Vishnu sculpture and other beautiful reliefs.
Learning the historical and religious significance of the caves, dated back to the 4th-5th century CE
Meal of the day: lunch break
Our lunch at a local restaurant or retreat, and experiencing traditional local cuisine. (Optional: a quiet spot near the caves or a nearby retreat could be arranged.)
Bhopal: scenery of nature.
• Begin the drive back to Bhopal, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
• If time permits, take a short visit to the nearby attraction or relax in the surroundings.
Ending Point
In accommodation permises or designated drop-off point in Bhopal.

The climate of the region is tropical, and this tour involves walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and appropriate attire.

My tours start from Bhopal by car or other vehicles, taking guests on a guided tour and then dropping them back in Bhopal or at a location of their choice. The fees are very reasonable, while I always ensure to pay full attention to the guests' preferences and desires. Respect and regards.
