The Turtle Conservationisland is situated in Tanjung village, north of Nusa Dua Beach.

You will go with a private Glass Bottomed boat, about 10 minutes to the island.

All standard safety, conservation fees, and see-weed for feeding the turtle are provided.

Once you arrived at Turtle Island, you will be escorted by a local tour guide who will explain to you the traditional way of treating and protecting this beautiful animal.

You also will find some animals on the island, such as eagles, Iguanas, Birds, Snack many more.

After the tour, you may relax and enjoy a coconuts fruit available to purchase on the island.

ABOUT THE TURTLE:

These projects are aimed at protecting sea turtles and their eggs from various threats, including poaching, habitat destruction, and pollution. The efforts typically involve collecting turtle eggs from vulnerable nesting sites, incubating them in controlled environments to improve hatchling survival rates, and then releasing the hatchlings into the ocean.

Some of the commonly found sea turtle species around Bali include the Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas) and the Loggerhead Turtle (Caretta caretta). These projects often involve the participation of local communities, tourists, and volunteers who help with activities such as patrolling nesting beaches, monitoring nests, and assisting with hatchling releases.

Keep in mind that responsible and ethical turtle conservation efforts focus on releasing hatchlings into the wild and protecting natural nesting sites rather than exploiting the turtles for tourism or commercial purposes.

After the Turtle Conservation Island tour, if you would like to enjoy another couple of hours on the beach, this is a good opportunity for you to do water sports activities before transferring back to your hotel.
