Istiqlal mosque and Katedral Church
This mosque is the largest in southeast Asia and national mosque of Indonesia.
Istiqlal is the grand mosque and and a symbol of the Muslim faith. The katedral is the old catholic church. Exploring these two is great to have a good perception of how important religion is to the people of indonesia.
National museum
This museum located on Merdeka square with more than 140.000 collections. This is one of the best museum in Indonesia with various collections since the old statuary.
National Monument
Monas is a tower with heigh 132 meters. This was built to commemorate the stuggle for indonesian independence.
With 50 kgs of gold at the top, this monument is one of the list u need to visit while visit jakarta.
China town Jakarta
Visit China town and enjoy the local experience while you are in jakarta. Stop at the oldest chinese temple in Jakarta, Petak sembilan. And visit the local market and enjoy the local activities at the biggest china town in indonesia.
Batavia Old City
This is the remainder of old Batavia and the colonial time. Visit fatahillah square where the old state house located and now become museum of jakarta history. Enjoy the old buildings and the rest of the colonial time.
Sunda kelapa harbour
This is the last stop before the tour finish. Enjoy the phinisi schooners at the harbour. This is the populous main gate of Jakarta. We also can boating here to enjoy the canal of ciliwung river.

“Best 'looks' of Jakarta within the day!”
I was able to experience Jakarta like a local, having tried out their local dishes, listened to the stories of Jakarta and Indonesia through Ratih. We walked around the sites within Chinatown, visited some of the authentic places in Jakarta, had a quick boat ride around the harbour and so much more. I was very happy that I got to understand the city in such depth within only 7 hours. Ratih and the local driver were amazing and I'd not hesitate to travel with Ratih when back in Indonesia again!
