Bewleys Cafe Grafton Street or your hotel (if more suitable)
The oldest Cafe in Ireland - Here we can sample some famous cherry buns or fruit scones to start our day.
We will spend approximately one and a half to 2 hours taking in the most important sites on the south city at leisure. These will include St. Stephens Green Shopping Centre, The Shelbourne Hotel, The Merrion Hotel, Government Buildings, The National Gallery, The National Museum, The Mansion House and on to Trinity College.
Burdock's is the oldest family run chipper in Ireland. They are famous for deep fried fish in batter with chunky potato chips. We can stop here if you would like to taste the famous dish or have a beverage. We have the option to go on to Murphy's Famous Ice Cream for dessert too.
After lunch, we can stroll through our famous cultural quarter - Temple Bar.
From Temple Bar Area, we will continue up the central city area to Viking Dublin - We will see Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral and St. Patricks Cathedral
After our stop at St. Patrick's Cathedral, we will make our way back through Temple Bar and and take a stroll through Merchants Arch and over the iconic Ha'penny Bridge to get to the northside of the city centre. From the Bridge we can see all the way up and down the River Liffey to take in more famous sights such as the Custom House and Liberty Hall. Our tour over the bridge will lead us into the 2nd and oldest shopping area of the city - Henry Street. From here we will be able to see where the inner city ladies used to sell from their stalls in the olden days. This will lead us to our final area of the tour - the famous O' Connell Street. This is the street where the Irish Rebels fought for Irish Independence in 1916. We will go inside the GPO where this uprising took place. We will complete our tour at the Monument of Light (The Spire) - tallest art sculpture in the world.
After all our walking, we will stop in at one of the most famous Pubs in Ireland called The Confession Box. This pub was used by rebels such as Michael Collins back as a place to get confession secretly during our uprising. They are voted "Best Pint of Guinness in Dublin" so it is the perfect place to finish our day.
After our stop for a pint of Guinness or Gaelic Coffee, you are free to stay on here or I can take you back to the hotel.
A central point for you or back to your hotel

Hi ladies and gents abroad and a warm welcome to my profile page here.
My name is Cathy and I am an Irish born and bred tour guide based in our beautiful capital city, Dublin.
I have been in the travel industry for over 20 years now and have worked as both a world wide travel manager for a large American company and also as a host and tour guide across Ireland and Europe for the past 8 years.
Having worked and travelled quite extensively in the past, I have had the great pleasure of meeting a number of different nationalities and experienced their cultures
It has been a great experience for me to work with so many different types of people from young children to the more mature folks enjoying their retirement years
Nowadays however, my greatest joy is to show off my own beautiful city and country to all of you from around the world
I am always delighted to meet and engage with new people and show them the very best of this lovely little country and help them make memories that will last a life time
I am a very friendly and fun but sincere person and I aim to give my guests interesting but fun tours during their time in the city or country
I am always open to reworking tours and tweaking or designing new tours to satisfy what any particular individual or group is interested in too and this has made me a popular guide here in Ireland
I am like most Irish people in that I do not over brag about myself but I can say with honesty that I am a genuinely professional guide who wants nothing but my groups to home happy and fully satisfied that they have been shown a good time and had lots of fun with me during their time in Ireland
If you want to get in touch with me to arrange or book a tour or discuss and preferences or things you would like to do here that are specific, please feel free to message me and I will get back to you promptly
Bye for now - my friends to come :)
