A day in the north of our country assures a very rich experience, involving amazing nature, vibrant history, faith, colorful culture and some geopolitics. It is a drive in an area surrounded by 3 countries (Lebanon, Syria and Israel) with plains and mountains, gushing springs and ruins of kingdoms of old and much more.

Meeting Point
It is quite flexible. You may decide to meet at your hotel or any meeting point within 40 km from Nazareth such as Haifa, Tiberias, or Nazareth itself or be collected from a cruise ship in Haifa Port
Hazor National Park
Route 90 north will take you on the same path Jesus walked to Caesarea Philippi. On the way you may have the possibility to stop at Hazor, the northern gate of the holy land with ruins that date back to 1,500 years BC and brief historical and biblical background will be given there.
Dan National Park
Continue further, you will make a wonderful walk along the isles of Dan. It is there where the tribe Dan, who failed to inherit the southern shores, moved north and also deviated to worship a golden calf. Dan offers an amazing nature of springs flowing everywhere, wild trees and relaxing atmosphere next to the ruins of the Kingdom of Israel. A watch over the northern border toward Lebanon will give us a better understanding of the geopolitics of the region starting 100 years ago.
Caesarea Philippi (Banias)
A few miles east will bring you to Caesarea Philippi that calls you to think on why Jesus had to ask His fundamental question on who He Is. It is another gorgeous source of the Jordan River next to Dan and the Hasbani (in Lebanon). A possibility of an easy hike along the river and a visit to the Roman palace of King Agrippa II as well to the Byzantine church that marks the famous declaration of Jesus: “On this rock I built My Church” is a great choice.
Golan Heights Panoramic View
Later, you will ramp up to the Golan Heights while on the way, we may stop by one of the Druzes restaurants for lunch and then continue to view the Bashan Area and Syria. On the route that stretched in front, Jesus stopped Saul blaming him for persecuting the early Christians. Again, much of the dynamics of the region take place in front of view and it might be a great opportunity to better understand it.
Kazrin
If time permits, we may align our way back to stop at one of the wineries in the region for a quick toast or make a visit to one of the interesting workshops dealing with olive oils to create skin care products. This will be a wonderful opportunity to hear about the research done around olive oil.
Ending Point
Can be the same as the Meeting Point or any other within 40 km from Nazareth
