I will pick you up at your hotel (anywhere in Israel) and we will drive to the iconic Masada. We'll ascend the mountain by cablecar and you will enjoy a comprehensive tour of this incredible site, including spots that many people don't get to see. Afterwards we'll refresh ourselves in the cool waters of the desert oasis of Ein Gedi, eat lunch in a kibbutz, and end the day floating in the Dead Sea- the lowest point on earth! Return to your hotel in the evening.

Arrive at Masada National Park
We will ascend the mountain by cablecar and see the amazing views and archaeological finds, during which you will hear the story of how Herod came to build this incredible palace/fortress in the desert and the fate of the Jewish rebels who were besieged by the Romans in 73 CE. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ein Gedi Nature Reserve
Ein Gedi is an oasis that features waterfalls, pools, streams, and is rich in flora and fauna. We'll take a leisurely hike, taking refreshing dips as we go. Good chance to see Nubian ibex up close.
Kibbutz Ein Gedi
Lunch in the kibbutz dining room. A chance to see what kibbutz life is like.
Dead Sea - north shore
We'll drive to the Neve Midbar Beach, where you can float on the Dead Sea, coat yourself with the famous Dead Sea mud, and have a drink at the lowest bar on earth.
Drive back to Tel Aviv

Entrance fees to sites and attractions, including the cable car at Masada, lunch.
Make sure to bring a bathing suit, towel, water sandals, comfortable shoes for walking, sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen.
If you are in good shape and interested in hiking up the Snake Path to Masada, then we must leave Tel Aviv at around 3:00 in the morning (depending on the season).
The itinerary can be modified to include other sites such as the Qumran National Park, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Pickup can also be from hotels on the Dead Sea.
I can guide small groups, up to 6, with my comfortable Toyota Land Cruiser, anywhere in Israel. I have a specialization in Christianity and I am very familiar with the Negev Desert. I can also accompany you to Petra in Jordan. If your group is larger than 6 I can arrange transportation for that size of the group.
