Porta Torre
I will provide a historical overview from its beginnings as we explore Porta Torre, the main entrance to the city during the Middle Ages.
San Fedele Square
A charming medieval square, where the Roman Forum of Como once stood. I will explain the key events that took place here.
Basilica of San Fedele
The first cathedral of Como, built in the 7th century. I’ll show you its iconic frescoes and unique architecture.
Dragon Portal
An ancient gateway that provided access to the Basilica. I’ll tell you about its medieval creatures and symbols.
Duomo di Como
We will visit the stunning cathedral, full of history and art, an architectural gem that's a must-see.
Cavour Square
An iconic spot by the harbor, home to the city’s first hotels, offering beautiful views of the lake.
Temple to Volta
We will visit the temple-museum dedicated to Alessandro Volta, where we will see his inventions and experiments with the first battery ever created.
Monument to the fallen
We will explore this impressive monument and finish at the shores of Lake Como, in an open area.
Lakefront Villa Walk
We will walk along a beautiful lakeside promenade, passing by the most famous villas of Como.

If you're coming from Milan, the train from Milano Centrale to Como costs 4.80 €.
Tour Important Information
We will enter the Basilica of San Fedele, the Duomo di Como, and the Volta Temple.
This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
From 13:00 to 14:30, there are no tours as the Basilica of San Fedele is closed.
On Sundays this tour starts from 10:30.
