I was born and raised in the northern "Sestiere" (district) of Venice: Cannaregio. Since I was a child I've always been curious about different countries and cultures and I enjoyed studying foreign languages, that's why I chose to study at the Touristy High School of Venice and after graduating I decided to study Economics of Tourism and Arts at the University of Venice - Ca' Foscari. Meanwhile I had some chances to travel as well, I visited most of the European countries, spending some weeks in the Uk, France and Spain to study, but I also had the chance to travel to Russia thanks to my University and to the United States. But the love for my city, Venice, has never decreased during the years and this is why I have decided to become a tour guide.

And like Venice, which has traveled for more than a millennia, discovering different worlds, so am I: I love meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds, and I love traveling… walking at a slow pace. This is why from my philosophy of life, I have created a profession, with the goal of allowing my guests to embrace all the atmospheres, art, architecture, history, culture, and cuisine of the Veneto territory.

“Great guide, good perspective, very accommodating and mindful of how to get the most of the day”

David had a great perspective on the historical, factual, and political landscape of Venice. He was very accommodating and eager to please. Showed us the sights - toured Torcello, Burano and Murano. His boat wasn’t the newest or the fastest but it got the job done for our group of two and made for a good adventure. We toured for about 6 hours or so and fit a lot into our day. I could have shopped for longer in Murano, but I probably saved myself some money by not staying longer to shop! If you want more than an hour and a half in Murano, book him for more time.
