Haeundae Blueline Park (해운대 블루라인파크)
Haeundae Blueline Park is an eco-friendly transformation of the former Donghae Nambu Line railway, spanning 4.8 kilometers from Mipo to Cheongsapo to Songjeong. It is a key attraction within Busan’s Haeundae Tourism Special Zone, an international tourist destination featuring the Haeundae Beach Train and Haeundae Sky Capsule, both offering stunning coastal views.
The **Haeundae Beach Train** is a scenic railway that runs round-trip from Mipo to Songjeong via Cheongsapo, serving both as a mode of transport and a sightseeing experience along East Busan’s coastline. The **Haeundae Sky Capsule** is a charming four-seater automated capsule train that travels along a 2-kilometer elevated track, 7 to 10 meters above sea level, between Mipo and Cheongsapo, providing a unique and romantic coastal journey.
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple (해동 용궁사)
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is a stunning coastal temple located on the northeastern shore of Busan, a rare sight in Korea, where most temples are nestled in the mountains. Originally built in 1376 by the renowned Buddhist teacher Naong during the Goryeo dynasty, the temple's main sanctuary was carefully restored in 1970, preserving its traditional colors.
A unique Buddhist sanctum is tucked inside a cave to the right of the main sanctuary, while a three-story pagoda with four symbolic lions—representing joy, anger, sadness, and happiness—stands at the front. Visitors can also explore the temple’s notable features, including **108 stone steps** and lanterns lining the rugged coastline. Descending these steps offers breathtaking views of the temple, while a stop midway allows visitors to soak in the soothing sounds of the waves and witness a spectacular sunrise.
Oryukdo Skywalk (오륙도 스카이워크)
Oryukdo Skywalk is situated at a location historically known as **Seungdumal**, meaning "saddle" due to its distinctive shape. Locals and female divers also referred to it as **Jallokgae**. Construction of the skywalk began on September 12, 2012, in the Seungdumal area, recognized as the boundary between the East Sea and the South Sea. Officially opened on October 18, 2013, the skywalk was designed around the theme of **"walking over the sky,"** offering visitors a thrilling experience above the coastal cliffs.
Busan Marine Cable Car (부산 송도해상케이블카)
Busan Air Cruise was created to restore the prestige of **Songdo Beach**, Korea’s first public beach, which opened nearly 30 years ago. The cable car system features **39 cabins**, including crystal cabins with transparent floors, offering breathtaking views as they glide over the ocean between **Songnim Park in the east and Amnam Park in the west**.
Visitors can also explore **Songdo Doppelmayr World**, home to Korea’s first **cable car museum**, experience Asia’s first **midair Sky Swing**, and enjoy themed photo services and other attractions.
Gamcheon Culture Village (감천문화마을)
Gamcheon Culture Village was established by refugees from the Korean War who constructed their homes in a staircase pattern on the slopes of a coastal mountain. The community’s winding alleys are beautifully adorned with murals and sculptures, created by the local residents. Today, it is a popular destination in Busan, drawing numerous tourists each year.
