DMZ Tour Highlights

Imjingak Peace Park: A symbolic site just outside the DMZ, featuring war memorials, the Freedom Bridge, and Mangbaedan — an altar where separated families honor ancestors across the border.

The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel: A 1.6 km tunnel dug by North Korea, discovered in 1978. Visitors descend by walkway or monorail to view part of the tunnel (no photography allowed inside).

Dora Observatory: A panoramic viewpoint to see North Korea’s propaganda village and Kaesong Industrial Complex.

Unification Village (Tongilchon): A small farming village within the Civilian Control Line, known for its symbolic role and peaceful atmosphere.

Tour Important Information

- The DMZ tour is closed on Mondays.

- Please note that the DMZ tour is subject to cancellation without notice due to changes in inter-Korean relations.

- This tour does not include the JSA (Joint Security Area).

- Departure time may be adjusted to 7:00 AM during peak season or on weekends.

- Please make sure to leave the passport name, nationality, gender, and date of birth for each participant in the message box in order to reserve the DMZ tour shuttle bus.

- You will travel by private van to Imjingak, then transfer to the official DMZ shuttle bus. The DMZ portion takes about 3 hours.

- Visitors with respiratory conditions, claustrophobia, or severe knee/back problems may not be able to enter the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel.

-This tour includes moderate walking on gentle slopes. Please wear comfortable shoes.

- The van is best suited for up to 5 adults, but can accommodate up to 7 people if children are included (may be tight).

- Please let me know in advance if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions.

- This is a private tour — only your group will join.

“Excellent day spent with Thomas”

We had an amazing day with Thomas. He met us at the port and took us on a fabulous tour of Seoul. We saw so much but never felt rushed. We were taken to a great restaurant for lunch and Thomas managed to get us a prime spot to witness the changing of the guard at the palace. The day ended with a great food tour around the local market trying various local delicacies and then up to a sunset viewing point before Thomas drove us to the airport. We saw so many different aspects of Seoul an throughout Thomas took some amazing photos which he sent on to us. We can’t thank Thomas enough for looking after us so well and sharing so much information with us. I would highly recommend taking a tour with Thomas

“Great guide!”

We are a couple, two independent travelers who rarely use guides. However, we wanted to see some of the old Dynasty highlights and palaces on our first day in Korea and we knew we would have jet lag. So we hired Thomas. He was superb. Kept showing us more and more but always slowed down when we need to slow down. Very friendly and funny. And an amazing photographer. “Beautiful day ”

Lovely day from the rail bike, to Jara Island and zipp wiring across to Nami Island followed by a relaxing stroll around Garden of morning calm. We ended up back in Seoul to experience the beautiful Seoul Nighscape This was our second day with Thomas - always informative, friendly and good company.
