Shinheungsa Temple
If you choose to go for the cable car in the previous timeline, you can visit this temple. This is a wonderful Buddhist temple surrounded by the mountain valleys. The history of this site started since AD 653, and has gone through hard period of wars including the Korean War(North and South). It is so peacefully in harmony with the beautiful mountain. You can also see the Unification Buddha Statue(bronze) which is about 14.6m high.

Yeonggeumjeong Pavilion
A beautiful pavilion in the sea. This is a very refreshing place to enjoy the sea in the nice traditional architecture, and also a nice place to take a wonderful photo.
Daepo Sea Port
This is a nice local fishermen's area, where you can see so many local restaurants with the fishery boat. The thing is, the restaurants are a little bit costy as compared with other areas. So usually we go to this place to enjoy sightseeing, or enjoy freshly fried shrimps(the cost is reasonable for this food).
Sokcho Central Market
This is the biggest market in Sokcho city. You can enjoy the local street food and dried seafood for your souvenir. The most famous food in this market is, Manseok Dakgangjeong which is actually the most famous fried chicken in Korea.

I am a Seoul-based guide but I can attend the whole Korea.
<About myself as a tourguide>
I started my career as a tourguide in 2008.
Until now, I have met English and Japanese speaking guests in many fields. My guests were usually family travelers, but often included company guests and overseas government officials as well. After meeting so many kinds of guests from various countries, I am ready to meet any kinds of clients. Also I have my 11 seatered van to conduct the driving tourguide tour as well.
Along with the experience of variety of programs all over Korea, I have developed my capacity as a photographer as well. I started taking photos with DSLR 4 years ago. At that time, it was just for the tourists. But thanks to COVID, I had a chance and time to develop this hobby to my secondary job. Nowadays, I often go to the weddings or other kinds of events(1st baby's birthday, parents' 70th birthday, graduation, etc) on the weekends. So now I am equiped with the professional camera and the suitable skills for the portrait photos. I guess I am the only one tourguide in Korea who has the professional capacity, both as a tourguide and a photographer.
I am ranked in the top tourguide in one of the agencies I work with, and I had a chance to be on the Singaporean radio channel to introduce around Seoul Tower to the listeners. You can see me on the link bellow.
