Before being a tour guide I spent most of my career working in the banking industry for almost 30 years, starting with Korea First Bank which later became a US based Newbridge Capital and UK based Standard Chartered Bank until I retired in 2016. My experience in the banking industry was very much customer-first and dealing with the public which laid the cornerstone and passion to becoming a tour guide. After retiring from the bank, I worked as a lecturer for a volunteering organization run by the local public office and taught students about the environment and disabilities. Fully Customizable Private Half-Day Seoul Tour

“Our guide made miracles happen!”

Emoch went above and beyond what we would have been expected. At the last minutes, a friend joined my group and we needed a ticket for the secret garden which was Sold Out. Enoch made many calls and then went to the palace ticket office in person in the early morning to wait on line, hours before our tour start time to procure a ticket for us. He is a miracle worker! We had a wonderful day visiting the secret garden, other palaces and main attraction in Seoul. I hope you will be lucky to have Enoch be your kind. He is kind, thoughtful, smart and will do everything in his power to make your trip memorable.

He told us about the economy, birth rates, social customs, religion, palaces, emperors and kings, geography and lots of practical aspects of modern Korean life. We have toured in many countries and David’s was probably the best. Strong recommendation for those interested in an incredibly well rounded and intelligent scholar, historian and raconteur.
