Seomun Traditional Market
Seomun traditional market, one of the biggest market in Korea during Joseon dynasty and has almost 500 years history. Its scale is huge, you can find almost everything like food, clothes, produce, shoes, furniture, kitchenware etc. Street food is also famous such as Kalguksu(noodle), barley rice, pork soup, as well as flat dumplings, Hotteok(Korean pancake), fried chiken, Tteokbokki etc.
Apsan Cable car to the Observatory
Apsan Mtn. Park is a representative urban nature park in Daegu city. You can take the cable car to the observatory and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of Daegu city. On the top of the mountain, a cute moon rabbit sculpture welcomes you and people take picture with it.
Daegu Modern Alley
Daegu Modern Alley is an alley located in Jung-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City. It preserves the appearance of Daegu from the late 19th century to the early 20th century, and there are five alley tourism courses. It was selected as one of the top 100 Korean tours.
Dongseongno Downtown Street
Dongseong-ro street is one of the most popular downtown areas in Daegu. Originally a fortress site in the east of Daegu was constructed and demolished and became a road in 1907. Since then Dongseong-ro street forms various alley areas such as Gyodong Jewelry Street, Tteokbokki Alley, Yashi Alley, and Guje Alley along the pedestrian-only street.
Daegu National Museum
It is an exhibition room designed to introduce relics related to archaeology and history from the prehistoric period to the Three Kingdoms period excavated in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. It is exhibited so that you can understand the history and culture of Daegu and Gyeongbuk and look at the lifestyle of that time.
