Hi guys, it's Alex here! ✌️ For over 5 years, I and my colleagues have been organizing tours to some of the most incredible places in and around Mexico City. As a team of local guides, we aim to help travelers discover our beautiful city and its surroundings in the most interactive, authentic, and fun way. So, if you want wanna discover Mexico from a local perspective, and get to know its history, culture, gastronomy, and nature, consider hiring us as your guides. Be sure, we will make your experience in Mexico City unforgettable!

Oaxaca Tour Guide - Edelmira P.

Edelmira P.

Mexico

My name is Edelmira and I am a tour guide in Oaxaca, Mexico. Oaxaca is the gateway to an abundance of art and handicrafts, renowned native cuisine, fascinating history, and rich cultural heritage. The most popular time to visit Oaxaca city are  Christmas-New Year's, the Guelaguetza dance festival in July and the Day of the  Dead. Oaxaca is a colonial city founded in the 16th Century. The United Nations recognized the city of Oaxaca and the Archaeological Zone of Monte Albán in 1987 as World Heritage Sites. The cultural wealth is also abundant outside the city. The surrounding Valley of Oaxaxa  is ringed by the ruins of ancient civilizations, including Mitla , celebrated for the unique Greca stone fretwork decorating its walls. And on a high western  hill overlooking everything,  regal Monte Albán,  Mesoamerica's first metropolis still reigns from its mountaintop throne. Wherever you wander in this rich land, you'll find excitement, lots of friendly folks, and a host of traditional Oaxacan delight. I hope to see you soon.
