The High Atlas is one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world. The Berbers who live there have been able to preserve a traditional rural world and a unique living environment in places of nature that are still protected. It has also become a paradise for outdoor sports and the High Atlas has opened up all year round to all kinds of sporting activities: hiking, ski touring, mountaineering, paragliding, mountain biking ...
Imlil, a perched Berber village, is at the heart of all these activities and the starting point for the ascent of Toubkal, the summit of North Africa at 4168 meters.
Remember that traveling isn’t about covering a ton of kilometers. Set a destination according to your abilities, ride at your own pace, and enjoy the experience. This is the most important piece of advice to enjoy the trip.
Pick a bicycle that suits the needs of your trip and that has the following accessories.
Take care of your body; it is the real motor of your bicycle. Try to keep a varied diet rich in carbohydrates, proteins, vegetables, salads and fruits. And, above all, drink a lot of water to prevent cramps.
