Day 1- Kathmandu Sightseeing (Pashupati, Bouddha, Swoyambhu and Kathmandu Durbar square)
Our staff will be ready to pick you up at the International Airport and transport you to your Hotel.Kathmandu, Nepal's capital city, is a bustling and culturally diverse destination with many historical and religious places to visit. We'll start by exploring the lively streets of Thamel. The tourist center provides an opportunity to visit local markets, sample genuine Nepali food, and enjoy the active nightlife. From there, we'll make our way to the renowned Bouddhanath stupa in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Drive From Kathmandu to Dhulikhel, Namo Buddha Monastery
The journey from Kathmandu to Dhulikhel takes around 1.5 hours by car. You’ll travel along the Arniko Highway, passing through scenic landscapes of green hills, small towns, and rural farmlands. For a more immersive experience, you can opt for a mountain bike ride, which takes longer but provides an adventurous way to explore the region. Along the way, you’ll pass the town of Bhaktapur, another UNESCO World Heritage Site worth visiting.
Namo Buddha Monastery:
A short drive from Dhulikhel is the famous Namo Buddha Monastery, one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Nepal. It is believed that Lord Buddha, in one of his previous lives, offered his body to a starving tigress and her cubs at this site. The monastery offers spiritual peace and great views of the surrounding hills. It’s a must-visit for those interested in Buddhist culture and history.
Day 3: Departure
A car will be waiting at your hotel to collect you and drive you to the International Airport for your departure.
