Namaste! I'm Devaraj Dhakal, a licensed and experienced trekking guide from Nepal with a passion for sharing the wonders of the Himalayas. I was born in Baseri, Dhading District, nestled between the Ganesh Himal and Manaslu regions—two of Nepal’s most breathtaking trekking areas. Since 2002, I’ve dedicated my life to guiding and organizing treks, tours, and mountaineering expeditions across Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, and India.

With over 25 years of experience, I’ve led countless adventurers through iconic routes like Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, Langtang Valley, Upper Mustang, Manaslu Circuit, Kanchenjunga, and Dhaulagiri. I also specialize in peak climbing expeditions below 7,000 meters—such as Island Peak, Mera Peak, Lobuche East, and Chulu peaks.

I am the Managing Director of a trekking and tour company based in Kathmandu, where I also run a hotel in Thamel, Nepal’s vibrant tourist hub. My love for travel and cultural exchange has taken me across Europe to countries like Portugal, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Holland, and Switzerland, enriching my global perspective.
