I'm Lewis, a Kenyan documentary filmmaker, an experienced tour guide and the host of an authentic family homestay where travellers can experience real rural life beyond the usual tourist routes. I enjoy welcoming people from around the world and sharing the traditions, history, and daily life of the Meru people, one of East Kenya's oldest Bantu communities. Our homesteads offer a genuine cultural exchange where you'll live with a local family, enjoy home-cooked meals, participate in farming and community activities, and learn through storytelling and shared experiences. We also organise visits to the beautiful Meru National Park, a rarely touristed route near cultural and natural sites.
