I fell in love with New York the moment I set foot here. It's been over 30 years now. I love this city so much that I became an NYC tour guide. I enjoy showing people different faces of NYC - from the bustling city of skyscrapers to the quiet streets of out-of-the-tourists-way neighborhoods. I love telling stories of people who made New York what is it - the self-made millionaires, famous writers, daring architects, beautiful and powerful women. I can show you major landmarks as well as secret spots and cozy old bars where you can feel NYC history. I can take you to places where sounds of jazz rule the night and people swing-dance - a dance which was born in Harlem, NY, and had swept the world with its infectious joy. I'm a licensed sightseeing guide with many years of experience. I'm truly fascinated with the unique history of New York City and love to share my passion for it. I've studied History of Art at Harvard Extension School (Cambridge, Mass) and New School (NYC) and took classes on NYC Architectural History at Cooper Union (NYC).

I have multiple jobs right now. One is a mediator and the other is an English teacher. After working for some life insurance company for about 40 years, I got a job for some Family Court as a mediator and I enjoy helping those who get in trouble. I also teach English for beginners, especially for TOEIC TEST. I love music. When I was in university student, I was a conductor for a male chorus. Since then I have been really into Opera. I don't mean to be pompous, but actually, I'm good at entertaining any guests at any occasion, as I had worked as head of sales, human resources, and branch manager. Almost a decade ago I had lived in Kyoto for 5 years and I have been enthralied by charm and attraction of Kyoto, such as history, culture, cuisine and beauty:as in cherry blossom in Spring, colorful leaves in Autumn and GION festival and so on. I'd like to share my experiences with everyone and guide all of you to Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe.

Hello, My name is Katsunori, a national licensed guide in English. Just call me “Fuji-san”, the same as Mt. Fuji-san. I worked and lived abroad more than 15 years mainly in the United States, Australia, Abu Dhabi, China and Malaysia. During those days, I communicated many local peoples and felt a lot of different cultures and thinking ways. I was interested in this multi culture circumstance. I also visited many places, some of them were on business purpose, and the others were as private travels. Visiting new places always gave me new discoveries and deep impressions, and I really like these feelings. I would like the visitors to Japan to feel such impressions, and I would like to assist them – this is the primary motivation for me to be a tour guide. One of my hobbies is trekking. One of the travels that made an impression on me was a mountain trekking at Nepal. I trekked 4 days through the hills over 3000m in Himalaya with mountain guide. Another nice experience was the trekking of Jungle in Sarawak island in Malaysia. The guides explained the natures such as plants, flowers, butterfly and insects of those areas in addition to the trails in both cases, and I really recognized the importance of the guiding. If the guides were not suitable, my memories on the travels might not be so nice. Japan is really beautiful country. It has seasonal beauty according to the four clear cut seasons. The natures with historical buildings are beyond description. I really hope you, visitors, receive great impressions during your stay in Japan. I can arrange any kind of tours – from half day city tour to mountain trekking. I will customize special tours for you with proper recommendations. I am looking forward to hearing from you!!

Hello! Thank you so much for your interest in having me as your tour guide. I am a national licensed guide-interpreter based in Tokyo, with a background in art, design, and the creative industries. I have guided over 200 guests from around the world, including families, couples, and solo travelers, on both classic Tokyo highlights and more tailored cultural experiences. Beyond the popular districts like Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya, I love introducing hidden gems—stylish cafés, vintage clothing stores, contemporary architecture, craft markets, and unique cultural spots connected to everyday life in Japan. I also enjoy hiking, traveling to nature-rich destinations, and working with plants as part of my creative work. Because of that, I am very comfortable guiding tours that blend the city with nature, such as day trips to Hakone for onsen, art museums, scenic spots, and beautiful views of Mt. Fuji. Whether you’re interested in fashion, architecture, seasonal flowers, or a deeper dive into Japanese lifestyle and design, I can tailor your tour to your personal interests and pace. Families with children are also very welcome, I often support family trips and know how to make the day smooth and enjoyable for everyone :) If you are looking for a guide who combines culture, creativity, and mobility, I would be delighted to show you a side of Japan that fits your style.
