About Tour Guide Fernanda S.

Hi there! Welcome to Guimarães and Braga, Portugal.

My name is Fernanda. In the past I have studied Tourism and worked as a hotel receptionist for 6 years in Oporto. I then returned to University and got a Bachelor's degree in Portuguese/Latin/Greek and became a teacher.

I like talking to people and I have enjoyed visiting cultural sites and monuments ever since I was a child. I especially like to communicate with people from other countries and cultures. Finally, Braga and Guimarães are two towns I know really well. For many years I studied in both Braga and Guimarâes, and I also worked for years in Guimarâes.

I would be happy to be your personal tour guide as I have done so many times for my overseas friends. I would love to take you to popular places as well as places unknown to the average tourists. I can provide you with the valuable insight of a local, along with a unique experience, as I have been doing for the last 10 years as a private tour guide.
