Its mangrove forests, inter-tidal mudflats, riverine habitats and marshlands host unique wildlife such as the mudskipper, tree-climbing crab, Saltwater Crocodile, and the Smooth Otter. It is an important site for migratory birds visiting from Siberia and northern Asia. The extensive visitor amenities, level paths and elevated boardwalks here allow easy access for visitors of all ages and physical abilities.
