I left Germany 23 years ago and have been living in Barcelona for 12. I am an experienced world traveller having visited more than 40 countries on all continents. When coming to Barcelona I developed a passion for its architecture, the rich history & the many legends that can be found all over the city. Turning passion into a profession I became a tour guide and founded my own company specialising in off the beaten path tours and historic walking routes. We offer private tours. This way we can guarantee a high level of intimacy. For us it is important that there is also time for personal conversations. We love to learn about the lives of our guests. Our mission is fulfilled when you got the feeling that you discovered Barcelona with a friend who happened to know a lot about the city. Catch The Barcelona Feeling with me!

Japan
Hello everyone, it's Tad! I was born in Osaka, raised up in Kobe, and came back to Osaka for my university and work. I studied clinical psychology in my university. I specialize in children who have developmental disorder such as Down's syndrome, autism, ADHD and I care for the left-behind children whose parents can’t look after them due to their work or private reasons. I used to help them with their homework as a student volunteer. When I was a university student, I went abroad to Australia for the first time in my life, which made me want to know outside world more. I went to see the outside world, which made me get to know the amazing aspects of my own country. I truly see the beauty of Japan and kindness of people. So that after the graduation of my university, I decided to move to Australia with working holiday visa for two years. In Australia, I bought a car and traveled whole around Australia doing labor work. During my time in Australia, I was surprised by the beauty of nature and how wide the world is, and I was helped and well treated by locals. Also I realized that Japan has a very unique and beautiful culture. That experience made me want to share Japanese culture and help you experience Japanese hospitality. I’d like to do my best to make your precious memories in Japan just like how local people in Australia treated me as a part of their family. After returning from Australia, I spent 3 months backpacking around 17 countries of Europe. To tell international guests about Japanese culture, history and hospitality, I became a rickshaw runner in Kyoto Arashiyama. That’s why I became an officially licensed English guide of Kyoto city and decided to live my life as a professional English guide. As I’ve lived in Kobe, Osaka and Kyoto, I’m good at guiding these cities and customizing private tours for FIT (foreign independent travel) guests. Especially I hold a cultural food walk tour which complies with any special dietary restrictions in Osaka’s night out spots. 【Career Summary】 Bilingual professional tourist guide of officially certificated by Kyoto city. ¡Hola! ¡Espero tu mensaje!

Mexico
My name is Jeronimo (Jeroen). I'm Mexican and European. I studied economics with a specialization in International Management at Maastricht University, The Netherlands. I have always been fascinated by Latin America. After my studies I worked as a consultant, entrepreneur and commercial director in Belgium, Brazil, The Netherlands, Guatemala, and Argentina. I have been active in humanitarian aid in Third World countries worldwide. I have travelled extensively to Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America. I have worked as a tour conductor in France, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize and Indonesia. Mexico is where I decided to stay twenty years ago. I started off with groups of 20 people with trips of 28 days from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize and back to Mexico. After this I switched to trips of 21 days visiting the same countries. After having visited each archaeological site over 60 times, each time with another local guide, I decided to study Mexican History and Archaeology, inspired by some of the local guides who told the tourists that the Mayas landed from Mars in spaceships. I am specialized in Maya culture. Working with people and showing them different cultures is what fascinates me. In 2004, I started off with the big tour companies like TUI and Thomas Cook, who commercialized the trips from 28 days and reduced it to 12 days. I did that for 10 years, after which I went on as a private tour guide/driver for small groups. I offer private day tours and multi day tours to all archaeological sites and nature parks transportation included in English, French, German, Dutch, and Spanish.

Mexico
I am a México City local who is in love with it. I love my whole country but I love my city more. I have studied International Relations and Mexican gastronomy and it's history. I work as a tourist guide and in films as a chaperone; in there my job is to receive and take care of foreign producers and actors. Among the task, I take them to eat, party and find stuff that doesn't exist ( yes that happens). As there are different requirements for this jobs I get to know the different parts of the culture, the exclusive, fancy, curious, popular, untidy; the whole ideosincrasy. I am a serious foodie, also enthusiast about, coffee, beer, wine, mezcal and pulque (prehispanic drink). I like to collect hidden jewels from my city and I also like to cook but preferably with the proper calm and telling the story and culture around the food. In order to have some balance I am sportively very active, I practice football soccer and rugby, also willing to go outdoors anytime. When I was about to enter to study I wanted to do something good for my country; this jobs are a great way to do it, I am proud to show my culture. I also like the fact that I get to learn from visitors, their way of seeing the world. It is very rewarding when visitors leave happy.
