Hi, I’m Kyoko. I was born and raised in Kobe. After completing my education, I spent 25 years in London, where I taught piano and enjoyed a wonderful life in England. I returned to Kobe a couple of years ago to care for my elderly father and began a new chapter in my career as a tour guide. Kobe has recovered beautifully since the major earthquake 30 years ago. It is much quieter than Kyoto and Osaka, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy your time in Japan. I would love to show you the beautiful scenery of Kobe, from its mountains to its seaside. My typical tour starts at the herb gardens on the mountaintop, continues through the city center and Chinatown, and finishes at Harborland, a famous spot for photos and stunning views. I am currently becoming an Authorized Stockholm Guide (finishing in March, if everything goes as planned). Why should I guide you? Well, I am first of all local: raised in the City neighborhood of Östermalm, so if there is something I know in life - it's Stockholm! Furtheron, I am experienced and have many years not only in tourism behind me, working as a Guide. As a person I am very flexible and service minded. My concept is very simple: Tell me where you want to go and I will make it happen! No thought or dream is too big. 200 years ago, us Swedes had an American Dream - today, my wish is that your Swedish Dream will come true!
