Tokyo old residential area tour with Tram
Let's explore old residential area of Tokyo by tram. It's never gorgeous or glitter like Shinjuku or Shibuya, but you can see the real and down to earth daily life of Tokyo resident. We can also visit several temples and shrines believed by residents. We buy 1 day free pass of the tram and get off at several places according to your choice. (3 to 4 stations generally)

Shibamata Good old Tokyo
Shibamata is located at east end of Tokyo wards, and at there you can feel the daily life of good old Tokyo. There is a famous Taisyakuten temple and known as a home town of "Tora-san" who is one of a most famous movie character among Japanese. You can also try riding Yagirino-Watashi, man power ferry between chiba and Tokyo. I hope this tour will give you a new point of view to Japan and Japanese with compact schedule.

“Great tour and introduction to Tokyo”
We arranged 2 half day introduction tours to Tokyo with Mutoh. He met and collected us on time from our hotel, had planned routes and gave us an informative tour and background on the places we saw as well as some further history of Tokyo. Well worth it for our first time in Tokyo and Japan! Thanks

Simon , Thank you for having join my tour and warm comment. I'm really glad if you enjoyed the tour! Even though weather was not perfect, I believe you saw cherry blossoms at its best timing in Tokyo. I hope you can see other aspects of Japan at Takayama! Please enjoy rest of your travel and safe back home. And come Tokyo again!

“Excellent two days with Mutoh!”
Mutoh was a wonderful and informative guide who was also very flexible about adding elements he learned were interests of ours. When we spike about our love of music, he adjusted our schedule to add very cool record shops and made us a reservation at a fantastic jazz club frequented by Japanese jazz enthusiasts. It was a great night! He helped us understand the culture and was very friendly and easy to be with and learn from. We loved our two days with him as our guide.

“Introduction to Tokyo ”
Mutoh met us at our hotel at the arranged time. He scooped us up and took us on a walking tour of his amazing city. Mutoh gave us the confidence to use the public transport system alone. He gave us a real flavour of the historic culture, the modern culture the shopping districts and true taste of Tokyo in the food markets! Mutoh tailored our trip so we were in the right area to easily visit the Sky Tree, which we had book independently. Mutoh also gave us great advice on what to do and where to go on our next day of solo adventures. Thank you very much Mutoh. Fran and Graham
