Entrance to Rifle Range Nature Park- Rambai Boardwalk
Learn about the history of Rifle Range Nature park as Quarry with a surrounding village. Walk above the canopy of a tropical rainforest; see fruit trees, e.g. durian, rambutan, bananas and longans and feel the leaves of selected plant species. Appreciate how upcycled timber is used to construct the boardwalk.
Visitor Pavilion - Gliders Boardwalk
Notice plants that line up along a forest stream, like the bamboo, its relation to village life and symbolism in Chinese culture. Plants like pandan (screwpine) leaves help absorb heavy metals and pollutants on a stormwater system, before being discharged into reservoirs. See the photovoltaic cells that line up the top of the visitor's pavilion responsible for powering the park and supplying power to the grid.
Forest Play Area
We'll explore/ meditate/ interact with nature and discuss landscape design elements in the park. This includes such as the rope bridge crossing for arboreal animals like the colugo, a nest box for Horsefield's squirrel's to nest, etc.
Quarry Wetland to Colugo Deck
Soak in the beauty of the Quarry wetlands. Get to know a bit more about iconic plant species like the Simpor Ayer plant, pitcher plants and more. From the wetlands, we'll take a short walk up to the Colugo Deck, 31m above ground to take in panoramic views of the park and surrounds.
Visit a secret urban rooftop farm at Beauty World
Tour the volunteer run farm with edible plant and herb species. Learn how food waste generated from building vendors is being composted through a variety of systems. Infuse some herbs harvested fresh from the garden in a hot cup of tea.

• Drinking water (500ml - 750ml)
• Comfortable clothing and covered shoes for outdoor walking

• Protection against insect bites i.e. long sleeves and trousers, • Environmentally-friendly insect repellent, closed-toe shoes with socks
