Hello there! I'm Jay from Saitama, north of Tokyo.

I am 67 years old now, a retired person since August 2025. Before retirement, I worked for American, German and Indian companies for years in a streak within the automotive industry. My family members are wife, son (born in Texas), daughter (born in Illinois) and my dog.

Now taking an advantage of my cross cultural job background and capacity, I am wanting to make more friends from every corner of the globe in a different way. The world is getting smaller and smaller. And I am excited about it.

Traveling around from coast to coast in the country is my preferred pastime as well. So, I can tell know what the tourists are expecting.

In addition, I love to ride my Harley for fun and adventure. Kind of outdoor person anyway.

We may also visit 'an old Buddhism temple' as well as a shopping mall if time slot allows. Before jumping onto a train back to Tokyo in the evening, we will drop by a Yakitori bar for a couple of beers and foods. Enjoy the deep Saitama culture.
