About Tour Guide Dai A.
Hi, I'm Dai, a national licensed tour guide for people from all over the world.
I’m crazy about traveling around the world.
I’ve backpacked in over 150 countries.
So I'm proud of my traveling skills, flexibility and patience that I've ever experienced through my world-traveling.
I do believe one of the most important thing for travelers is to " EXPERIENCE ", such as doing something new, extraordinary and something you've never done before.
Also, I used to work at a hostel in Asakusa, so I'm quite familiar with Asakusa area.
I'd love to help international tourists enjoy their stay in Japan.
You can arrange your own itinerary as you like.
Please feel free to contact me anytime, if you have any questions.
I'm really looking forward to seeing YOU soon. Thank YOU.

“A day full of adventure combined with learning local customs taking in the sights. Most amazing guide ever ”
We had the most incredible experience in Japan thanks to our amazing tour guide Dai. From the moment we met, he was warm, knowledgeable, organised, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty and culture of Japan. Our day was thoughtfully planned, balancing famous sights with hidden local gems we never would have discovered on our own. Dai’s knowledge of Japanese history, traditions, food, and local customs made every experience so much richer and more meaningful. Dai was also incredibly patient, helpful, and attentive. What truly stood out was his ability to turn a day into an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, learning, and wonderful memories. We felt completely looked after from start to finish. If you’re travelling to Japan and want an authentic, seamless, and memorable adventure, we could not recommend Dai more highly. Thank you for making our trip so special, we will treasure these memories forever! Also thank you for your extra help in sourcing a specific knife for our son who is a head chef in Australia.

Dai met us promptly at our hotel and explained the days itinerary. Although the weather was cloudy and rain, we enjoyed many sights and tastes of the area. Dai explained all of the sights, history and culture. He is a kind, energetic person that we enjoyed spending the day with.

Kota A.
Hello everyone! My name is Kota. After graduation from a university in Japan I spent a year in Vancouver, Canada, on a working holiday. While working as a server at a sushi restaurant, I had many opportunities to interact with guests who loved Japan, while also learning about Canadian culture from them. Those experiences became truly meaningful to me, and now I would like to take on that role here in Japan—sharing the beauty of my country with visitors and creating unforgettable memories together. Tokyo is a world-famous metropolis, but beyond its well-known landmarks, it is full of hidden gems that are less crowded and waiting to be discovered. I would be delighted to explore such places with you and do my very best to make your trip to Japan a wonderful experience. Since I am originally from Hiroshima, I am also very familiar with Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Osaka. I would be happy to give you helpful advice if you plan to visit those areas. And if our schedules align, I would love to guide you around my hometown Hiroshima, as well as Shiga where I spent my student years, or even Kyoto and Osaka. Please feel free to reach out anytime! I enjoy watching soccer (especially Manchester United!), and I also like beer and whisky. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all :) P.S. I am not a licensed guide, but I work as a friendly guide. Rather than providing formal or highly specialized guiding like a school tour, my focus is on offering a more relaxed and friendly experience to help you enjoy your time in Japan. I appreciate your understanding.
