We talk about the history, the architecture, the art but also todays culture and life.
Welcome to the province of DALARNA and the city of FALUN - my hometown as well!
Let me open up the doors to my country, the culture and the history on our walks. My roots are in the country side, the province of Dalarna, where I am a qualified tourist guide. This is where one of the symbols of Sweden is made, the Dalahorse. Falun is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE, let me take you around in the area, to the painter Carl Larsson's home and museum, to the village of Sundborn and to the city of Falun. This is where the red paint used on som many houses in Sweden comes from and where art, fairy tales, industry and nature blends into one.
Or if in Stockholm, why not join me to Skansen Park in Stockholm and hear about old and new traditions from Dalarna and other parts. I am a qualified tourist guide in Stockholm as well.
Welcome to the university town of UPPSALA - where vikings, scholars and Kings meet.
The old ancient history at Old Uppsala will come to live at the museum, we will admire the runestones, visit the cathedral as well as the university library. A day full of history!

The Christmas market in Old Town goes back many hundreds of years. We will enjoy the atmosphere of Christmas when enjoying the market at the Main Square and stroll in the narrow alleys of Old Town. You will hear how we celebrate the Yuletide season from the first Advent to Lucia and Christmas Eve all the way to middle of January. We make the following stops: -we start from the medieval centre in Stockholm walking the coobbled streets and stoping by the Cathedral, the Nobel museum...,( 40 '), -then we move to the City Hall,home to the annual Nobel Banquet ( 30' ), -We board the ferry for a scenic voyage across Lake Malaren ( 50'), -we visit Drottningholm Castle , the official residence of H.M. the King of Sweden since 1981 and Unesco Wolrd Hetitage site (1 h 30').

The best of the historic Stockholm! Gamla Stan (Old Town in Swedish) is where the modern capital meets the medieval Stockholm. We will visit all the highlights and cover both Stockholm as well as Swedish and Nordic history, from its roots in the medieval times to modern days. We meet in Riddarholmen, spend time in Stadsholmen, Royal Palace and later we finish in the Parliament area. Depending on day/time, if any churches are open, I will buy us all entrance tickets for the different churches!
