Hej! My name is Sophie and I am a true Stockholmer - born and raised in the beautiful capital of Sweden. I am currently taking the official courses to become an Authorized Stockholm Guide (finishing in March, if everything goes as planned!). I have 4+ years experience working as a Guide in Stockholm and have done everything from Private Tours, Old Town Tours, City Tours to Bike Tours, Bus Tours, Segway Tours.

Throughout the years, I have had the pleasure to work with both companies as well as individual bookings. Nationality wise, I have met people and made friends from all over the big wide world. Language wise, I have mostly worked with German speaking tourism, but naturally also quite a lot of English speaking groups. My family is spread out all over: Sweden (far up in the northern woods) / Netherlands / Peru / France / Finland / Germany, so there are quite a few languages I speak and understand on varied levels - although tour wise I am sticking to German and English (and Swedish of course)!

Why should I guide you?

Well, I am first of all local: raised in the City neighborhood of Östermalm, so if there is something I know in life - it's Stockholm! Furtheron, I am fairly experienced and have many years not only in tourism and as a Guide, but in customer service - meaning I am very flexible and customer oriented.

My concept is very simple:

Tell me where you want to go and I will make it happen! No thought or dream is too big. 200 years ago, us Swedes had an American Dream - today, my wish is that you tell me your Swedish Dream! My goal is to give you the best experience possible in Stockholm and for you to revisit Sweden many, many times. There is SO much beauty to the country of IKEA and Volvo Cars, that I hope to show you.
