Hej! My name is Sophie and I am a true Stockholmer - born and raised in the beautiful capital of Sweden. I am an Authorized Tourist Guide in Stockholm with 4+ years experience working as a Guide in Stockholm. The majority in Stockholm are not authorized, so this is an investment from my side and a qualiy assurance for you as a guest. Experience wise, I have done everything from Private Tours, Old Town Tours, City Tours to Bike Tours, Bus Tours, Segway Tours. Throughout the years, I have had the pleasure to work with both companies as well as individual bookings, where I have encountered people and made friends from all over the big wide world.
Why should I guide you?
Well, I am first of all local: raised in the City neighborhood of Östermalm, so if there is something I know in life - it's Stockholm! Furtheron, I am experienced and have many years not only in tourism behind me, working as a Guide. As a person I am very flexible and service minded.
My concept is very simple: Tell me where you want to go and I will make it happen! No thought or dream is too big. 150 years ago, us Swedes had an American Dream - today, my wish is that your Swedish Dream will come true! My goal is to give you the best experience possible in Stockholm and for you to revisit Sweden many, many times. There is SO much beauty to the country of IKEA and Volvo Cars, that I hope to show you.

“Amazing is an unterstatement”
Well what can I say, it's tough to put it into words. Any words coming to mind right now would not even come close to how special, unique and just spectacular the time was we spent with Sophie. She is not only a great guide with lots of knowledge who knows how to share that knowledge with you in a way that you remember it, she is also flexible and can adapt on the spot when someone wants to take a rest or take a quick detour. Always kind with a smile on her lips even when she gets asked many questions. If you read this far, thank you and trust me. With her as your guide, you will see Stockholm from a POV that no one else can do. It won't just be a trip, it will be a journey you remember for the rest of your life. The best of the historic Stockholm! Gamla Stan (Old Town in Swedish) is where the modern capital meets the medieval Stockholm. We will visit all the highlights and cover both Stockholm as well as Swedish and Nordic history, from its roots in the medieval times to modern days. We meet in Riddarholmen, spend time in Stadsholmen, Royal Palace and later we finish in the Parliament area. Depending on day/time, if any churches are open, I will buy us all entrance tickets for the different churches!
