Let me open up the doors to my country, the culture and the history on our walks. My roots are in the country side, the province of Dalarna, where I am a qualified tourist guide. This is where one of the symbols of Sweden is made, the Dalahorse. Falun is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE, let me take you around in the area, to the painter Carl Larsson's home and museum, to the village of Sundborn and to the city of Falun. This is where the red paint used on som many houses in Sweden comes from and where art, fairy tales, industry and nature blends into one. Or if in Stockholm, why not join me to Skansen Park in Stockholm and hear about old and new traditions from Dalarna and other parts. I am a qualified tourist guide in Stockholm as well. Welcome to the university town of UPPSALA - where vikings, scholars and Kings meet. The old ancient history at Old Uppsala will come to live at the museum, we will admire the runestones, visit the cathedral as well as the university library. A day full of history!

In 2021 I started as a tourist guide in Gothenburg and its surrondings. This is the year I formally authorized after eight months of theoretical studies and practical training. In my youth I worked for Atlas Travel, Sweden for five years, and guided up to 60 people during many excursions. Lived and worked abroad in seven locations (including Tunisia, Chamonix, Paris and London). Since 2021 I have guided many walking tours, bus tours, private groups and tourist groups. My languages are Swedish and English. I also speak German and French but haven't authorised in those languages yet. My future plan is to do so. Since four years I have taken seven courses in Gothenburg University in historic Sweden and west Sweden history. I worked for 28 years with AstraZeneca; a global biopharmaceutical company. My main roles were; section/group manager, project manager, quality strategist. March 2022 to August 2025 I worked in the Västra Götaland region with inspiring research and innovation in primary care.

Stockholm in 1 Day with Authorised Guide

“Excellent Day with Superb Attention to Needs of the Handicapped”

We had a wonderful day tailored to the needs of a wheelchair-bound tourist. Stockholm is a difficult city for someone handicapped, but Sophie and her driver and husband made the day very easy for us. We had a car, which was necessary to cover the distances, and were let out very close to all best tourist sites. We had a heavy rainstorm, but this was not a problem with the attentive service we received. Great day with happy guides with a lot of personality.

Well what can I say, it's tough to put it into words. Any words coming to mind right now would not even come close to how special, unique and just spectacular the time was we spent with Sophie. She is not only a great guide with lots of knowledge who knows how to share that knowledge with you in a way that you remember it, she is also flexible and can adapt on the spot when someone wants to take a rest or take a quick detour. Always kind with a smile on her lips even when she gets asked many questions. If you read this far, thank you and trust me. “Jessica made our day fantastic ”

Jessica was delightful. She made everything so easy. Met us right at our ship. Efficiently moved our group of 8 around without ever feeling rushed. We came on the day of the Stockholm marathon. It would have been a nightmare for us to move around without her expertise of where to go and what to avoid. She is extremely knowledgeable and answered any and all questions.
